Exploring new ideas

Over the Summer, I decided to take a few classes to ensure my capability of graduating in the Spring, as planned. I took a studio lighting course, advanced digital and photogravure. All of these classes were absolutely incredible and really allowed me to explore photography, as well as myself.

I don’t have any of my photogravure projects documented yet, but I’ll show a few projects from my other two classes. Enjoy!

Let me know what you think! And come back soon! I’m studying abroad this quarter so I’ll be making more frequent posts!

  1. I liked these photos…great direction in general. However, the hard light and shadows in the lake photo mix distractingly with the “overcast” post-processing… something that could’ve been solved with a flex-fill on location. Given the quality of your other work, though, I’m sure you already realized this.

That is an excellent point. I’m not sure I noticed that. WordPress kind of dulls things down too. Thank you for your time and advice!
